Data sources

To keep our indicators verifiable, we disclose the underlying data sources: SEC EDGAR (US company filings), FRED (US Federal Reserve economic data), Frankfurter (ECB reference rates), CoinPaprika and Alternative.me (crypto), with charts from TradingView. We select, process, and interpret this public data ourselves to build each indicator. Hover the ⓘ icon next to any indicator for a short explanation of what it means and how to read it.

How to use it

Anyone can use it for free, no sign-up or payment. It supports Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and Russian, with a choice of dark and light themes. Data refreshes on a short cycle, and a server-side cache is used for fast, stable responses.

Editorial principles and independence

FearGrid is an independent publication that does not promote any specific security or product. Aside from advertising, we do not accept payment to feature content. Every market guide is written in-house and every diagram is our own. Our composite Market Signal index is computed by standardizing public US Federal Reserve data against our own baseline, rather than reproducing any institution's index. Corrections and suggestions are always welcome via our contact page.
